背景：
戴维．卓曼(David Dreman)是美國知名的价值型基金经理人，他所管理的史卡德卓曼高报酬权益基金(Scudder Dreman High Return Equity Fund 分为A、B、C、I四種)获得晨星公司(Morningstar Inc.)五颗星的评价，至2001年2月底止，过去十年以来每年平均报酬率达18.27%，在美國大型价值型基金中名列第二，过去一年更以65.61%的报酬率，超越S&P500指数的表现达75.25%，名列第一(如附表)，史卡德卓曼高报酬权益基金目前管理总资产达37亿美元以上，除了管理基金之外，戴维．卓曼亦是卓曼价值管理公司(Dreman Value Management LLC)的董事长，管理个人及机构投资者的资金亦达25亿美元左右，戴维．卓曼虽被视为价值型基金经理人，但在其投资过程中特别强调反向思考的重要，由其在富比士杂志(Forbes Magazine)固定的专栏名称定为"The Contrarian"可见一斑。 【交易知识macd.org.cn§ www.irich.com.cn 收集整理】
戴维．卓曼着有三本畅销书，分别是 Psychology and the Stock Market : Investment Strategy Beyond Random Walk(1977年出版)，"Contrarian Investment Strategy-The Psychology of Market Success"(1979年由Random House出版，1982年以"The New Contrarian Investment Strategy"之名再版)，及1998年出版的Contrarian Investment Strategy :The Next Generation : Beat the Market By going Against the Crowd，本模型是参考其书中的投资方法整理而成。
选股标准：
选择中大型的公司(Choose from a universe of medium to large-sized companies)。
选择低本益比的公司(Buy low price-earnings ratio stocks-those that are among the bottom 40% of stocks ranked by price-earnings ratio and have ratios below that of the S&P500)。
高股息收益率(The stock should provide a high dividend yield that can be maintained or, preferably, raised)
财务强度:有三个指标：
A.高流动比率(high ratios of current assets relative to current liabilities)
B.低负债净值比(low debts as a percentage of equity)
C.低股息支出率(low payout ratios)
良好的营运状况：有两个指标：

B.比同业高的税前净利率(high pretax profit margins relative to others in the industry)
最近及未来盈余成长率高于市场平均值(higher rate of earning growth than the S&P500 both in the recent past and projected one year down the road)
大师选股报告的使用方法：
选择总市值大于市场平均值的公司。
选择本益比最低的50%且低于市场平均值的公司。
选择股息收益率高于市场平均值的公司。
财务强度：
A.流动比率高于市场平均值
B.负债净值比低于市场平均值
C.股息支出率低于市场平均值。
良好的营运状况：有两个指标：
A.最近一年净值报酬率比同业高
B.最近一年税前净利率比同业高。
最近一年盈余成长率及未来一年预估盈余成长率高于市场平均值。
